So this opera has been slowly growing on me. I find I have different favorite parts from different versions. (though in general the Bohm is my favorite!) The middle of Act III honestly does drag for me though. I love the opening, but after about 10-12 minutes it's awhile before things pick up again. So tell me, what recording of Act III compels you to listen to the whole act, rather than cutting out the middle half hour or so?
